I am very new to joomla and I want to use it as a Event Management portal. Can anybody suggest me which one is the best. Even if there is a good component/extension i am ready to buy.
I have found “event registration pro”, “jEvents”, but unable to decide which one is feature rich.

If anyone knows the best joomla event management component/extension/module please help me?

I just installed a new template for Joomla, and I can´t find a way to tell me which placements (top, bottom, left, banner, user1, etc.) are available for this template. I want to maximize my space and I can´t do that without knowing what is available.

I have Joomla and a Joomla template(rt_refraction_j15) installed on my website. But i want the same template and css styling, as a basic HTML template, so i don’t have to use Joomla for editing. Is there an easy way to convert the template to basic HTML/CSS template?

Hi,
I am new to joomla and my boss is asking me to add some of the joomla functionality to the current website so that the owner of the website can itself modify the contents. I am having no idea about how to do that. My boss says that there is no need to re-build the website in joomla. If anybody can help me, I will be highly obliged.

Basically a website that uses Joomla and VirtueMart shopping cart. User picks a package featuring train tickets, hostels to stay in and different cities.

Is there an extension that can be installed and configured that allows for user to plan their trip (cities they want to visit, hostels to stay in etc) and it then allows user to pay for their customised trip?

Also the site will be selling set packages that feature predefined cities, hostels to stay in and train journeys.

Is Joomla software harder than Dreamweaver to learn. I have been told that Joomla is easier than Dreamweaver. Do Joomla make its own codes like Dreamweaver. I want to learn it and I want to buy the software. Please give me your opinion. Do I need to buy the Joomla program or not?
