The deck is to be built 4ft above level ground. It is to be 50ft by 30ft and is to contain a spa that is circular with a 14ft diameter. the spa is 4ft deep. /assuming that the spa itself weighs 550lbs. How much water will the spa contain and how much will it weigh? Also, what materials would I need for this project?

I would like to avoid having to get a plumber as well if I can.
It’s an outdoor spa I bought on ebay. all the bits of PVC tubing are there, but need to be put back together, and there is a drain close by. How much do you think I’m up for?

It looks like I need to replace the ozonator in my spa. The dealer says that if I don’t buy a new insert the sun and moon night align and baby puppies will die. What is the danger in not replacing the ozonator?

It is a paper element type, could it be a weekness in the moulded plastic end of the cartridge or pehaps just to much presure . Is there a better type of filter i should use for this six person size spa. Thanks.

Last time 5 people used the hottub, the chemicals went out of balance. Someone told me I could pretreat the SPA and posttreat to handle this temporary overload. What should I add?

I’m moving to a house that has a spa. Problem is it doesn’t run. Its an older spa but I’d love to get it running again. We got quoted for some outrageous price (Over $1000). I’m pretty mechanically inclined and it doesn’t look like theres much too it. What components are there in a basic spa? I’ve looked around ebay and found pumps, filters and heating elements for pretty cheap. What else is there involved with rebuilding a spa?

Any pool guys out there know if this will be a problem. if not, is it just a matter of filling the spa section and cementing over? Or will i have to re pipe the pump?
